I had been talking about this day, which I am very excited for, 2 weeks before the actual day itself. I felt excited as if I was getting a bunch of cash for me to spend it on the stuffs that are on my wants list. 2 weeks were very long ahead. Well, I wasn’t the only one who was very enthusiastic about this day before the actual day came. Farhana was as super excited and all planned as I were. But due to some reasons, she didn’t make it for the actual day. I felt down at that point of time when she told me the bad news. I felt down as if all my money, even in my cat-bank, were all gone but I knew I had to be strong. We had a little picnic at West Coast Park. We planned to meet up at Jurong East Interchange at 9am and it was Atiqah’s idea to put the timing that early but she was the one who ended up 1 hour late and she blamed Zizah. Poor Zizah being bullied by Atiqah. Atiqah warned us that if anybody's late, she will not entertain that particular late comer but she was the one who was late. Ironic isn’t it. Lucky her we were not that cruel not to entertain her. The weather was sunny plus windy plus cooling. We had fun like we always did whenever we meet up with each other, so we never fail to laugh and enjoy at every outing we have. We brought along foods and there were like so many foods, from Lontong goreng, Baked rice, hotdogs and nuggets and not forgetting some snacks, until Atiqah had to bring the leftovers to her family gathering because foods can’t be thrown away. It’ll be wastage and wastage is not a good thing. We played card games such as Happy Family and Old Maid. After we were bored with the card games, the others excluding me became Lizards. They climbed and climbed and climbed. Due to the sun, the sand was very hot and we ran to find shelter when our foot were burning up. After all the climbing, we bought some ice-creams over at McDonalds. During the entire picnic, Dayah really ate a lot, well I don’t blame her as she was going to work so she needed the foods to give her energy. We left the place at about 3pm cause it started to drizzle a little bit, it’s better to be safe than sorry aites. I went home with Zizah, musing the moments when we always walk back home together from school, I miss those days. Well, I am just pleased that there were not many M&Ms (mats and minahs) but there were many "white people" and cute children building sandcastles. Psst: the picture above is not complete, there should be 7 of us. So click for the pictures.
